I had such a good time preparing with this mom for her family portrait experience. She had been wanting to do it for over a year, and was so excited to actually see it happen. With four young children, it can be tricky, but we had fun! Oh, and we had a dog. (Notice in the family portrait that the dog is smiling– seriously, no photo shop or editing on that dog!) OK, well I helped this mom, who is also a friend, plan and pick out the pettiskirts and even stopped by to approve the male wardrobe. I love how they all coordinated and wore something that they individually loved. We also wanted to capture that fireplace mantle portrait as well as create some gorgeous pieces that would serve as family legacy reminders. The end products included a gallery-wrapped canvas with a bible verse surrounding it and a beautiful beveled print resting on a tabletop easel with a bible verse. These verses are foundational in their home and are now displayed in a subtle and beautiful way. (I’ll have to eventually post those images too!). Anyway, I love this family and here are some of the images from the portrait experience. Did I mention, I love the privilege of being a photographer?
Those skirts look like so much fun… It seems like they just made the day!
