When mom, N., called me (with her beautiful English accent) to do some family portraits before they moved out of state, we decided on the beach. After all, as my own extended family would agree, Chicago doesn’t have Malibu beaches (although it is a fantastic city!) The first try had to be rescheduled because of little E.’s fever, but we had a beautiful beach day/evening when it worked out. And so, here are some of the images of the fun we had just playing at the beach. By the end of the shoot I found myself wanting to speak with an English accent just because listening to them was so lovely. And the kids had good times and lots of “sweeties”– well-planned by mom.
