In the spirit of the NFL playoffs I thought I’d post some fun images from the Z. family who are die-hard Packer’s fans. This post is a way to pay tribute to their team doing so well– an accomplishment that all Packer’s fans are celebrating right now. After all, the playoffs had some pretty amazing games this past weekend. As a former athlete myself, I love seeing the level of play be so good, talent and hard work coming to fruition, and the overall aspect of sports be such an amazing conduit of community. (My favorite play from the weekend goes out to Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas– amazing, awesome, and a great mute-button for all the Tebow-naysayers.)
OK, back in November the Z. family and I took some time for their family portraits, and then split it up for some guy time and some girl time. I’ll post the beautiful images from those other times soon. In the mean time, here are some fun images of these handsome guys playing football together just down the street from their home– and displaying what true Packer fans they are. Packers-aside, I am reminded how important it is to take time to play together as a family– and despite the definition of “play” (below), there is a purpose for it. And these men had a genuinely good time too– it will always bring a smile to my face when a college student can sincerely thank me for making the family portrait time “really fun.”
