Photography Sessions

Parachute Fun by KM Photography (Malibu, CA)

We are moving to Lookout Mountain, GA really soon and I had to finally do my girls’ K & M’s sister shoot.  I had a vision for this back in March, and now it is August, but I did it, or I should say, “we did it.”  I thought it best to incorporate our move with the image.  So a moving box, lampshade, exercise ball, etc. were used.  I used tissue paper for the “weights” and we hit the beach for a cool summer evening just before the marine layer came back in.  I love Malibu nights like this, it feels like home– maybe because of growing up there.  Even though after a short portrait experience we were all cold, I will for sure miss the cool evenings and seeing the marine layer wash in.  But, I’m also truly excited for the adventure that lies ahead– we all are!  Also, I added a few images where you can (sort of) see my helpful husband.  And K. is having too much fun trying to destroy the balloon when we were finished with their portraits.

You can see that here with the stunning Siler, along the Battery, Rainbow Row, and more. Like many senior sessions, we approached this […]
