Rainy Day Fun | KM Photography

It seems the rain won’t stop this summer on Lookout Mountain.  We keep hearing that it is “not normally like this” and I know we are well above average for all of the Chattanooga area, but still.  I’m used to CA droughts so this is all new to me.   The entire Fourth of July week was rained out.  So we had to come up with some indoor fun.  Coloring, puzzles, board games, reading are all fun, but we needed something new.  Thankfully my daughters are creative.  They organized an American Girl Doll’s Fourth of July Parade– the dolls could still do it inside instead of themselves on our street like we had originally planned.  The next day they had the dolls come to a “photo shoot” (in our screened in porch).   Being the obliging photographer and mom we did a mini-session.  🙂  So each one picked their doll of choice and got her ready.  Here is a look at our fun.
