Working with growing families is fantastic, and without exception it was great to work with mom L. again. Over two years ago, when her son B. was turning one we had photographed some traditional Korean dress portraits for his large party. So the timing worked out well this time for her daughter T. to have her one year traditional Korean portraits done during my trip to California when I was out from Georgia. We also included photography time for family and individuals too. And now they’ll have a beautiful family portrait on their wall! As well as some precious ones of B. & T.
Now, what you can’t see is the temporary invasion of flies that we had– I’ve never had to edit out so many flies in the images– in just one alone, I counted 12, and I so wish I was kidding, but I’m not! Anyway, poor little T. was struggling with being under the weather, and on top of that the flies who seemed to insist on being her new pets. She did amazing, and she still looked beautiful! I hope her portraits add to her first birthday celebration and for years to come. Here are a few from our time together:
