Children and Pet Family Photography | Thousand Oaks, CA

I love, I mean LOVE, having the awesome opportunity to work with repeat clients. So the S. family is one of my best. I am so blessed to see them grow up, I get sweet notes from the kids, and awesome hugs. And I’ve earned the trust of their mom for being creative and so we end up having a fun and pressure free photography session. This is ever so important when shooting with pets (read: chaos is bound to happen!) And let’s not go simple with the family dog, let’s add another dog and two cats to the mix, plus four children aged 10 and under. Now add three fancy former flower girl dresses and one bow tie and I’m seriously SO excited. The portrait session was part for the Christmas card and wall art and then part for the every two year birthday shoot (ages 8 and 10 this time). So here is a look at the fun– I should capitalize that– FUN we had and these beautiful children.
