When this family headed from Oregon to Maui for an extended family vacation together, they also took the quick hour to capture some beautiful memories together. I had so much fun photographing these families and all the beautiful girls, from ages 15 to 5 years old, and gorgeous. They were so full of giggles, and and smiles and I’m hoping that they’ll look back on these and see just how beautiful they are. Throughout the photography experience, I coordinated with mom Nicole, and we had a last minute location change to make logistics smoother, and keep them closer to their Kaanapali hotel, in Lahaina. I knew there were some excited for professional photos, and others, well let’s just say, this wasn’t why they came to Maui. 😉 And I have to admit, knowing that some people don’t want to do photos makes me take a deeper breath before plunging into a shoot, but within two minutes we were all laughing, smiling, and sincerely enjoying our time together. If the sun stayed out longer, I would’ve just kept shooting, but even pastel sunsets on sandy beaches come to an end. The fantastic part though is that these images will last for far, far longer.
