It is so good to know you are treasured and loved. To be looked in the eye and smiled upon. I think that is something we could all use. And this baby girl Quinn I’ve been so honored to watch grow from womb to newborn and month by month. As a photographer, I’m putting my heart into every photography session, I work with emotion, feeling, crave for beauty, and then have to match it with the technical side of photography and the changing light and location too. Therefore, with a longing for authenticity and genuine moments, it isn’t uncommon for photography clients to become friends too. Aaron and Coral and Quinn are one of those families, and it is such a privilege to photograph this love-abounding family. They work hard, love well, serve others and travel and play together. And Quinn is full of love, snuggles, mischief, the best laugh, and the wonder of discovering all the details of our world, from beautiful sunsets to tiny grains of sand. We worked quick to capture them and grandma and grandpa at a recent family photo session in the Makena, Wailea area of Maui, even changing baby Quinn’s outfit. I’m so glad that they have these portraits for now and for generations to come. I’m also so glad I can call them “friends.”
