Dr. and mom Mia was returning home to Maui with her family for a holiday. Thanks to a mutual friend we were able to connect and I had the opportunity to photograph her sweet family. We played, we laughed, they loved on each other, and I happened to be there with my camera. The beaches of Maui never disappoint, and being at one of my favorite spots in Makena was full of options for photographs and the session just kept moving. Makena is just a little further south of Wailea, and if you are visiting Maui you should absolutely explore at least one of the beaches here. And when you can catch sunset, like we did for this photo shoot, well that is just a bonus, as it was this night when the sun paints the sky in rich warm pastels.
