You don’t always have things planned out. Sometimes you’re sitting on the beach, enjoying the sandy shores of Wailea on Maui, and realize how perfect family portraits would be. So you send an email out (hopefully to me 😉 and I work with you to make it happen. To put together the clothes based on what you have. To make it work in the time you have. And then I’m invited in on your family time— an honor I don’t take lightly. Seriously your vacation on Maui has been talked about, planned for, excitement has built, and now you want to soak in every possible moment of our island. I get it. So to spend some time with you, being a part of the storyteller of your vacation and your time in life— it is a big deal. BUT it is a fun time too. My favorite is when dad’s start realizing this isn’t your ordinary photo session, and they are even having fun. I have a pretty good record for that. And I work quick, even if a mini session, or a longer session, your photo experience with me is meant to be relaxed and a memory that just adds to your vacation bliss on the island.
We worked quick to get this larger family and all the groupings. And they were a true delight. Although it wasn’t an epic sunset, it was a beautiful time all the same. And let’s talk these girls— dancers and so much beauty. And the youngest definitely had a very fun personality. She literally gave me one of the best silliest faces ever. Is that not one of the best silly faces you’ve ever seen too?
