Most often it is the on-island or local families that opt for the non-beach photo sessions. Not always, but most often. There is so much beauty throughout Maui so there isn’t a shortage of options for the look you want. I was just going through some photos and realized I never featured this family on the blog. (Face palm). These are sweet friends of ours, a family that was one of the first who truly welcomed us to the island. Plus they homeschool too, and any of their friends would tell you that they love well. Incredibly well. So all that made this mini session with this beautiful family all the more special. Even though this was awhile back, I can remember how we just had a fun time tip toeing through pineapple fields and decorating some Christmas trees (Norfolk Pines) and getting a little taste of the Maui farm life. And that’s what I love— customizing each photo session to be about you, that idea you have in your head about a feel or a look you want, and then creating something meaningful for you.
