Family photo sessions aren’t limited to those with littles. Maybe someone needs a “hallelujah” moment in the long days and short years of the Littles era: your family’s story continues beyond the little years and into new chapters that so much richness to them as well. When adult daughter Greta reached out for a photo session for her and her husband and her parents I was excited. Before their session I learned all about what they were wanting, and not wanting, from their questionnaire. It is so helpful when I get details so that I can create images that you’ll be that much happier with. So I knew both the hopes for the session as well as the things to avoid. When their session came headed over to one of the most beautiful spots on the island, and I learned that they were praying for no rain and a beautiful sunset. They were also in a bit of traffic, so God worked it all out, and then some. Seriously, it was one of those epic nights, and I absolutely loved the time I spent with these four. It is my favorite when clients leave and I feel like I’ve made new friends. Aren’t adult, grown-up families so worthy of capturing?
