The “McD” family were arriving from the midwest for their summer family vacation to Kiawah Island. It’s a wonderful vacation destination— you can enjoy the beach life, the river views, the miles and miles of bike paths on Kiawah— and then of course downtown Charleston is just about a half an hour away. Plus, the people on Kiawah are at ease and friendly. While is a gated community with mansions and a top resort and the PGA championships was just here, it is also simple where quality time can easily be spent. If you’re wanting to slow down and connect and enjoy beautiful surroundings, consider Kiawah.
I wanted their photo experience to not just be something that took up time on their vacation, but another opportunity for good family time and great memories. The kids were awesome, each unique and wonderful. Mom and dad were incredible too, and it was such a pleasure to spend time with their family. As you can see, we had fun! This was their first time doing professional photos, and they quickly became comfortable in front of the camera– something I strive to do for all my clients.
