Sunrise sessions aren’t always the easiest to wake up for, to be all fixed up and ready in time, but there are some great benefits too! For one, the light is dreamy. You can see that here with the stunning Siler, along the Battery, Rainbow Row, and more. Like many senior sessions, we approached this as a mini adventure in one of her favorite places. Yes, traveling to Charleston for senior portraits is TOTALLY worth it– as evidenced below. 😉 Siler did a great job showing up a few minutes early to her session. She also did amazing with her outfit choices, which I used to help choose the locations and itinerary too. And there’s also the part of me just thoroughly enjoying getting to spend time with her (and her beautiful mama!) and having such a perfect morning downtown. Two other bonuses of sunrise: less crowds and an incredible way to really experience Charleston. Oh one more: usually less humidity in the summer months!
I know I’m sharing a lot from her session, but it was just so sooo lovely! So yes, if you want a sunrise session, I’ll wake up early for you and enjoy spending the morning with you too!
