Sneak Peek by KM Photography, Thousand Oaks, CA contemporary family portraiture

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the W. family again for their yearly family portraits.  It is so much fun and such a privilege really to have the ability to photograph a family every year (or thereabouts) and see how they grow and change inside and out.  The boys were pretty comfortable in front of the camera once we got into the groove and we had some fun climbing trees (they climbed, I stayed below on ground), goofing off, collecting snail shells, and following a duck; and then I made sure we also captured some really attractive poses too.  When baby E. got a bit tired dad played with her and let her fly a little– and she couldn’t have been more delighted.  Baby E. is an amazingly tempered 4th child– full of love and smiles.  I love capturing these genuine moments.  We of course also got some of the posed images, as often wanted, but really just spent the afternoon exploring and playing–which is always fun for this family.  So we all, definitely myself included, had a great time!
