I have totally enjoyed Kiara on a few photo shoots now, and this was a great one too– this time with her fabulous mom and dad. Obviously when somebody is as talented and athletic (and just awesome!) as Kiara, you are going to have some pretty great parents too. So here they are, all together, making the leap, just a few days before Kiara headed from Southern California to Texas at Baylor University to earn a college education, compete for the Bears’ Acrobatics and Tumbling team, and score an individual national title. We actually had some really sweet and tender moments throughout the session, including the reading of letters and notes, but this really captures them as a family, and I’m happy to share it with you! I’m hoping to see her this upcoming summer (2015) on my new stomping grounds of Hawaii. I’m not sure of the details just yet, but her mom said it looks like July when Kiara will be sharing her skills, expertise, and best of all her self with competitive cheerleaders here. And maybe Maui will be a perfect location for their next family portrait. 🙂
